John passionately believes in a strong work ethic: do what you are supposed to do to the best of your ability, with a view to making the client’s experience enjoyable and pleasant. John is convinced that anything focused on will produce favourable results, indicating progress.
John is a Zimbabwean national, and has a Masters degree in Business Leadership and a BCom in Marketing Management, both qualifications from the University of South Africa. In addition, John also holds a Diploma in Insurance; Higher Certificate in Insurance (Licentiate) from the Insurance Institute of South Africa; and a Certificate in Salesmanship and Public Relations from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). He is an Assessor with the Education Training and Development Practices SETA (Sector Education and Training Authority).
John is currently studying for a post-graduate Diploma in Financial Planning with the University of Free State.
John started his working career in Zimbabwe in 1989, employed by the second largest Assurance Company there, finally as Senior Manager Administration and Client Relationships. He was responsible for client retention and smooth operations of the Employee Benefits Division. John came to South Africa in 2008 and started working in the South African retirement industry in May that year. John has 26 years of experience in retirement fund administration and consulting industry.
John loves reading, especially about current affairs and educational material. John is results driven and strives for the best at all times. He loves spending time with his wife and son. He enjoys encouraging those around him to their test limits and spends time strategizing, planning and then efficiently implementing these plans.
